At the Sandusky County Y, your trainer is a coach, motivator, and educator.  Your personal trainer will help determine your goals and design a specific program to meet YOUR needs.  Your trainer will assist clients through workouts providing the motivation and guidance needed to achieve successful results safely, effectively and efficiently.


MEET OUR TRAINER - ANGIE SCHROEDER
Angie Schroeder has an MBA from Tiffin University, with a concentration in Sports Management.  She is Nationally Certified as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Nutritional Coach, and a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist.

Angie has been a personal trainer and a grop fitness instructor for over 17 years at various places within Sandusky County.  Angie is a national trainer for the National Exercise Trainers Association.

Angie is a compassionate person who cares about educating and motivating individuals on a level that not only empowers people, but also teaches them on how to make better choices.  Angie's motto is "making a difference, one step at a time" and she is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm and passion to make a difference with people at the YMCA.

 

OUR PROGRAMS


PERSONAL TRAINING with ANGIE SCHROEDER
Personal Training is a great option for anyone.  Our trainer can develop plans for those looking to begin a fitness and/or lifestyle change or for those looking towards advancement in their personal regimen.  If you have never stepped foot in a gym before and are looking for guidance, working towards completing you first 5K or advance your personal record in your next triathlon, our trainer will adust for any goals you would like to set.  No goal is too big or too small.  They focus on helping you achieve your personal goals.  You set the days and times that work best for you.

 

 

SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING with ANGIE SCHROEDER
Does personal training feel a bit intimating to you?  Our small group training is designed for a small group consisting of 4 people or less working towards similar personal goals training together.

 

 

FITNESS CENTER ORIENTATION
This orientation is strongly recommended for all new members, anyone new to strength and cardiovascular training, and youth 16 years old who wish to use the fitness center.  We will teach you the ways to get the most benefit from your workouts.

 

 

ADULT SWIM LESSONS
Have you always wished you could learn to swim?  Do you think you could use a refresher course?  Then join us for adult swim lessons -- we can help you.  All levels of instruction offered.  Beginners to advanced swimmers welcome!  Private lessons are available -- great for adults who need a flexible schedule, or who want to achieve specific goals.

 

 

PRIVATE TENNIS LESSONS
Join our instructor to get one-on-one 45-minute tennis lessons.  You will practice basic ground strokes, serving, overheads, and volleys.  Whether it's your first time experiencing tennis or you're a seasoned player, your lesson will be catered to your needs.
